Having previously served as a Deacon, Gwyn was elected as Minister in May 2022. In his acceptance letter he replicated the words of our first Minister, PT Forsyth, ‘I am your servant in Jesus Christ, if, when you hear the whole of this letter, you still will have it so. And let us trust that our interpretation of the Lord’s will is right, and that we unite because He will have it so’. Gwyn encourages free-thought and curiosity, stresses the importance of nature and the simplicity of life, and is always keen to defend Congregationalism and Christianity in our ever changing world.
